Featured on Canvas Rebel: How I Built Synergy eTherapy Into a Leading Online Practice
I was recently featured on Canvas Rebel, where I shared some insights into the risk I took in building my online therapy practice, Synergy eTherapy. Before the pandemic, I noticed the growing need for accessible mental health care, especially for those facing geographical, physical, or scheduling barriers. Although online therapy wasn’t widely accepted at the time, I took a leap of faith and built a fully virtual group practice. At first, there was skepticism, but when COVID hit, the demand for online therapy skyrocketed, and the infrastructure I had already set up allowed my practice to thrive and grow.
As a licensed psychologist and business owner, I’m passionate about making quality care available to anyone, anywhere. Synergy eTherapy offers flexible online therapy services that break down barriers to access and maintain the same level of care as in-person sessions. The pandemic made it clear that innovation and adaptability are key in mental health care, and I’m proud that Synergy eTherapy is leading the charge in this new era.
I also shared my thoughts on what contributes to success in this field—empathy, resilience, innovation, and strong leadership, all while maintaining a focus on self-care and work-life balance.
